As the week continued, interns combined consulting work, professional development, and international experiences to strengthen both their projects and their global perspective. Throughout the day, students collaborated with their Nigerian business partners, learned from experienced professionals, and explored how diplomacy and business intersect on a global scale.

The day began with Business Partner Calls, where teams met with their Nigerian entrepreneurs to discuss project updates, ask follow up questions, and gather valuable feedback. These conversations helped interns refine their recommendations while continuing to build strong relationships with the business owners they have been supporting throughout the week.

Following the partner meetings, Wendy Riemann presented Fundamentals of Effective Public Speaking, sharing strategies for organizing presentations, speaking confidently, and connecting with an audience. Next, Eli Seiden led a Crisis Workshop, where interns explored how businesses can effectively respond to unexpected challenges and navigate difficult situations. Through real world examples and discussion, students learned the importance of staying adaptable, communicating clearly, and making strategic decisions under pressure. The morning concluded with Founder Psychology: The Art of Failing Forward, presented by Jordan Gamarra, introducing students to the global economic factors that influence businesses around the world.

After lunch, interns visited the Embassies of Mongolia and Portugal or explored Washington, D.C. with fellow participants. At the Embassy of Mongolia, students learned about the country's history, culture, growing economy, and international partnerships. At the Embassy of Portugal, representatives discussed Portugal's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and global cooperation while highlighting the role diplomacy plays in strengthening relationships between nations. Those exploring Washington, D.C. enjoyed the opportunity to experience more of the city while spending time with fellow interns and staff.

Returning to Georgetown, interns participated in collaborative workshops where they presented project updates and received feedback from Wendy Zajack for marketing and Adedoyin Akande for infrastructure. At the same time, Program Director Zac Clark and Assistant Director Danielle Saborio reviewed marketing materials with the marketing teams, while Country Director Umar Muhammad and Assistant Director Annie Jin worked with the infrastructure teams to strengthen their recommendations.

The day concluded with a walk to dinner, giving interns time to reflect on everything they had learned while continuing to build friendships and prepare for their final presentations. Through collaboration, diplomacy, and professional development, students continued building the skills and confidence needed to make a lasting impact on their Nigerian business partners.
