A Memorable End to an Incredible Week
After a week of collaboration, learning, and preparation, interns officially wrapped up the week of the 2026 International Leadership & Business Internship by presenting their final consulting projects at Georgetown University's School of Business. Throughout the week, teams worked closely with their Nigerian business partners to develop customized marketing and infrastructure solutions, and presentation day gave them the opportunity to showcase the results of their hard work.

The morning began with professional headshots and a group photo, giving interns a chance to capture the memories of an unforgettable week together. Before taking the stage, each team met one final time with their Business Partner and Communications Instructor Wendy Riemann, who helped students polish their presentations by offering guidance on delivery, slide design, and effective public speaking.

As presentations got underway, each team confidently shared its research, recommendations, and strategies for supporting its assigned business. Friends and fellow interns filled the audience, creating an encouraging environment as presenters demonstrated the knowledge and skills they had developed throughout the program. Justin Smith and Umar Muhammad served as judges, asking thoughtful questions and providing valuable feedback to each group.

Following a short break, the remaining teams completed their presentations, highlighting innovative ideas and practical solutions tailored to the unique needs of their business partners. The presentations reflected not only the interns' dedication to their projects but also the growth they experienced in leadership, communication, and problem-solving over the course of the week.
With the formal presentations behind them, interns had the opportunity to celebrate everything they had accomplished. The afternoon was spent relaxing around Georgetown, exploring the neighborhood, spending time with friends, and enjoying a well-earned break. The day concluded with a social gathering that brought together interns from every program, allowing everyone to celebrate the end of a successful week, strengthen new friendships, and look forward to the opportunities still ahead during the remainder of the internship.
