On day three of the International Leadership & Business Internship, students followed specialized tracks, allowing each team to dive deeper into their unique objectives while engaging in an international context and real-world collaboration.
The Infrastructure Team began the day with a visit to the Embassy of Switzerland, where they participated in an engaging session on Swiss politics and diplomacy. Interns explored Switzerland’s historic neutrality, its role as an international mediator, and the country’s robust trade relations with the United States. The discussion also touched on how Swiss investment shapes global economic partnerships, offering a valuable lens into diplomatic strategy and cross-border collaboration.

Meanwhile, the Marketing Team stayed on campus for a focused work block, using the morning to develop their logo, sign, flyer, and business card drafts to refine branding strategies. With uninterrupted time, they brainstormed outreach ideas, worked on advertising materials, and collaborated closely to align their plans with the goals of their Nigerian business partners.

Later in the day, both teams reunited for a round of business partner calls, continuing the conversations from earlier in the week. These Zoom sessions allowed interns to deepen their understanding of their partners' needs and goals, asking questions specifically tailored towards marketing or infrastructure. This direct engagement helped students hone their marketing materials and infrastructure budgets with greater clarity.

By the end of the day, interns walked away with a stronger grasp of global business dynamics and more personalized insights into the entrepreneurs they’re supporting, bridging strategic thinking with heartfelt collaboration.
