Tuesday’s sessions at the International Leadership & Business Internship were all about communicating with clarity and thinking globally. With a full slate of workshops and presentations, interns had the chance to polish their delivery skills, explore the realities of international business, and get hands-on in building marketing strategies.

The afternoon began with a dynamic workshop led by communications expert Wendy Riemann, who returned to guide interns through the art of crafting a powerful pitch deck. From structuring a clear narrative to choosing impactful visuals, Wendy helped students focus not just on what they say, but how they say it. Interns explored techniques for distilling complex ideas, adapting to different audiences, and presenting their concepts with confidence and intention.

After the break, interns dove into the global business landscape in “Going Global: Business in a Connected World,” a session facilitated by Eric Rosenstein. This lecture explored how companies navigate everything from cultural nuance to international regulations while building responsible and sustainable models. With real-world examples and group discussion, Eric encouraged interns to look beyond borders, embrace adaptability, and think critically about what it takes to build businesses that thrive globally.

Rounding out the afternoon were short and lively marketing and infrastructure workshops, where interns worked in rotating groups to brainstorm branding ideas, refine messaging, and push their creativity further. These 15-minute sprints brought a fresh energy to the day and gave students space to apply everything they’d learned in a practical, collaborative setting.

With each session, interns are expanding their toolkit—learning how to communicate ideas clearly, build ethically, and navigate the complex world of entrepreneurship with insight and empathy.
