Wednesday morning at the International Leadership & Business Internship was full of energy and forward momentum. With projects taking shape and team dynamics clicking into place, interns dug deep into the work, refining ideas, asking sharper questions, and thinking critically about long-term impact.

To kick things off, the Infrastructure and Marketing teams spent time in focused group sessions, each diving into the specifics of their proposals. Infrastructure interns honed operational strategies, tackled budgeting details, and adjusted plans based on business partner feedback. On the marketing side, teams brainstormed creative campaigns, built out messaging, and explored how branding choices could elevate their partners' reach and visibility.

Later in the morning, both teams participated in a fast-moving Stand-Up, where they shared updates, celebrated early wins, and addressed roadblocks together. These short presentations gave everyone a snapshot of each team’s progress and helped build a sense of collaboration across the program.

Then came a thought-provoking session led by Professor Sarah Stiles, who challenged interns to explore sustainability through a practical lens. From eco-friendly sourcing to long-term community benefits, the conversation pushed students to think beyond profitability and toward impact that lasts.

Rounding out the morning, interns met once again with their business partners. With fresh ideas and a stronger understanding of ethical business planning, students asked targeted questions, offered thoughtful feedback, and continued building tailored solutions designed to make a difference.
