After the morning adventure to the Spy Museum, the students returned to Georgetown to receive a class from Chris Fox, a State Department Intelligence Officer with experience in the CIA, DHS, and DIA. Mr. Fox talked about the many different career options that one could get into that involve national security. Through an interactive activity, students were able to learn about how the different intelligence agencies come together to solve national crises.

After lunch, where the students got to get to know one another a little better, they attended an Intelligence Panel with Anand Arun (right), Matthew Brodman (middle), and Ashliyn Burgos (left). Mr. Arun is a DIA Researcher with over a decade of intelligence collection, Mr. Brodman has worked as a DHS Field Office Director for over two decades, and Ms. Burgos served as an intelligence collector for the World Bank before returning to Georgetown for her Master's in International Intelligence. The students asked a multitude of questions where they were able to learn more about the different branches of intelligence and how they could get involved.

Finally, the students were able to listen to Ben Taylor. Mr. Taylor served as a senior Counterintelligence Officer in the White House who consulted the Executive Branch on a multitude of terrorism threats around the world. Mr. Taylor also spoke to his decades of experience in the army and Green Berets' Army Special Forces.

The students were eager to learn and to listen to all the fascinating stories that the guest speakers had to tell and all of the incredible opportunities in the intelligence field. Today, students will be introduced to the fields of Law and Advocacy.
