Thursday began with a focused session on the Introduction to AI in Cybersecurity, where interns had the opportunity to build an AI model that detects differences in network systems to better identify network intrusion on sources. This hands-on experience helped interns understand how machine learning algorithms can be trained to recognize anomalies and defend against evolving cyber threats.

After a midday break and Georgetown campus exploration, interns gathered for the International Internship Program (IIP) Presentation. Students were inspired by how their technical skills could be used to create solutions worldwide.
Later in the day, the Careers in Cybersecurity Panel gave students the chance to hear directly from top professionals. Panelists included Emma MacMullen of Capital One, Brian Levine of EY-Parthenon, Br. Pablo Molina from Georgetown University, and Darren McCormack, a seasoned cybersecurity consultant. They discussed industry trends, academic pathways, certifications, and what it takes to thrive in the field.

In the evening, teams had their final nonprofit meetings with their nonprofit organization partners. Interns presented draft recommendations and received their partners feedback on areas for clarification or improvement. From password management to endpoint security, teams began finalizing their plans with renewed focus. They closed the night with additional proposal development time, preparing for their final presentations with purpose and professionalism.
