Wednesday morning at the 2025 International Leadership and Business Internship was all about progress, purpose, and powerful collaboration. With team energy running high and project goals coming into sharper focus, interns leaned into group work, shared insights across teams, and explored the future of sustainable business.

The morning kicked off with dedicated group work time for both Infrastructure and Marketing teams, where they were able to prep for their opportunity to speak later on in the morning. Interns worked closely with their teammates to fine-tune logistics, identify operational gaps, and ensure alignment with their business partners' needs. On the marketing side, teams brainstormed creative campaigns, mapped out digital and social strategies, and began crafting clear messaging to help amplify their partners' brands.

Following their focused collaboration, all teams presented during the Infrastructure and Marketing Stand-Up. In this open forum, each group shared updates on their progress, offered feedback to peers, and highlighted early wins and roadblocks. These brief but impactful presentations fostered a strong sense of shared purpose and cross-functional awareness.

After the stand-up, the interns welcomed Professor Sarah Stiles for a lecture on Sustainable Business Development. This session challenged interns to think critically about how environmental, social, and economic sustainability can be woven into a business model. From ethical sourcing and eco-conscious design to long-term community impact, Sarah provided both visionary ideas and actionable frameworks that interns could apply directly to their projects.

Rounding out the morning, interns reconnected with their business partners in another round of productive meetings. With a clearer sense of direction and newly gained insights from earlier sessions, these conversations were rich with purposeful questions, fresh solutions, and a renewed commitment to co-creating lasting impact.
