The second day of the International Leadership & Business Internship allowed interns to strengthen both their leadership skills and their understanding of international diplomacy. The morning opened with dedicated consulting work, as teams collaborated on their project templates, refined their research, and continued developing recommendations for their partner businesses in Nigeria.

Following the work session, interns attended "Leading with Purpose: Inspiring Exceptional Leadership," presented by Gerald Gangara. Drawing on his extensive background in military service and international leadership, Gerald spoke about the importance of leading with character, humility, and purpose. Through personal experiences and practical leadership lessons, he encouraged students to recognize that strong leaders inspire trust, empower those around them, and remain committed to serving others. His presentation challenged interns to reflect on their own leadership styles and consider how they can make a positive impact in both their professional and personal lives.
After the leadership session, the group split for visits to the Embassies of Lithuania and Egypt, where they explored how diplomacy fosters international cooperation and strengthens relationships between nations.

At the Embassy of Lithuania, interns learned about Lithuania's history, culture, and its journey to becoming a modern democratic nation. Embassy representatives discussed the country's strong partnership with the United States, its role within Europe, and its commitment to international cooperation and security. Students also explored Lithuania's economic growth, technological innovation, and efforts to strengthen diplomatic relationships around the world. The presentation gave interns a deeper understanding of Lithuania's place in the global community and the importance of diplomacy in fostering lasting international partnerships.
At the Embassy of Egypt, interns explored the country's rich cultural heritage and its role in the contemporary global community. Embassy representatives discussed Egypt's economic development, diplomatic partnerships, and strategic importance within the Middle East and Africa. During the visit, students also viewed historical artifacts and works of art that reflected Egypt's remarkable history, offering a deeper appreciation for the nation's lasting cultural influence and contributions to the world.

Following the embassy visits, interns reconnected with their Nigerian business partners during their scheduled Business Partner Calls. These conversations gave teams the opportunity to share updates on their consulting projects, ask follow-up questions, and gather valuable feedback directly from the entrepreneurs they are supporting.Â
By the end of the morning, interns had gained valuable perspectives on the importance of diplomacy, global collaboration, and international partnerships. Their visits to the Embassy of Lithuania and the Embassy of Egypt demonstrated how history, culture, and diplomacy continue to shape relationships between nations while reinforcing the importance of cooperation in addressing today's global challenges.
