Wednesday morning began with interns hitting the ground running, diving straight into their work with focus and determination. From 8:15 a.m. until noon, teams remained hard at work, collaborating closely as they refined every aspect of their projects. The energy throughout the room reflected the interns' commitment to producing meaningful work that could have a lasting impact on their clients' lives.

Throughout the morning, interns concentrated on developing their congressional one-pagers, carefully crafting concise and persuasive summaries to communicate the importance of justice reform to members of Congress. They then shifted their attention to their IRAA cases, reviewing legal records, strengthening their arguments, and rehearsing their oral presentations in preparation for Friday. Attorneys and mentors worked alongside each team, providing feedback and helping interns develop stronger legal arguments grounded in evidence and thoughtful advocacy.

The morning concluded with another opportunity for interns to connect directly with their assigned clients through supervised phone calls. These conversations allowed interns to ask follow-up questions, gain a deeper understanding of their clients' personal stories, and ensure their advocacy accurately reflected each individual's experiences and growth. By the end of the morning, interns had made significant progress on both their written and oral presentations while strengthening the attorney-client relationships that remain at the heart of their work.
